    Additional Information 

       1 - Weight of Express Shipment must not exceed 100 KG otherwise penalty of 500 EGP will be applied and 

          debited to Origin. 

       2 - Performa or commercial invoice must be attached outside the shipment along with the airway bill and 

          NOT inside the Shipment otherwise penalty will be applied and charges will be debited to origin 

          (percentage of the value that is estimated by customs). 

       3 - Number of Pieces & Weight must be mentioned on the AWB and must be accurate otherwise penalty of 500 

          EGP will be applied and debited back to origin. 

       4 - No scratch or amendments on the consignee side is accepted otherwise penalty of 500 EGP will be 

          applied and debited back to Origins. 

       5 - Reasonable value of shipment should be mentioned on the Performa invoice or the commercial invoice. 

       6 - Passports are subject to held at customs and must be released by consignee himself to be inspected 

          by General Security. 

       7 - Medicines & Chemicals must be held at customs to be checked either by M.O.H Dept at Egypt customs or 

          some medicines must be transferred by customs to M.O.H Depts. Outside the airport which will take more 

          time.  

       8 - Beta Cam Tapes must be checked by censorship outside the Airport which takes more time than VHS. 

       9 - Colored Printer Devices and Scanner Devices are subject to inspection by General Security. 

      10 - Certain kind of Mobiles is checked by Ministry of Transportation which takes more time. 

      11 - Religious Books, Tapes & Stuff are subject to inspection by Holy Azhar Dept outside Airport which 

          takes more time for approval. 

      12 - Gold & Silver Metal are subject to inspection by Stamp; Scales Dept outside the Airport which takes 

          more time for approval. 

      13 - Herbs are subject to inspection by Ministry of Agriculture inside the Airport and some items outside 

          the Airport.
